With the new AMD Fluid Motion Frames being released in the new driver (Adrenaline 24.1.1), I was a little disappointed to find that it wouldn't work together with the Tobii Eyetracker 5. Specifically, if the companion app Tobii Experience was running in the tray, regardless if tracking was active or not, AMD Fluid Motion Frames would not work and show an error that current display mode was not supported.

I contacted Tobii Support regarding this, and they were super helpful and was able to find a workaround for this problem. Since they now know about this issue, hopefully this will be fixed in a future update so this workaround wouldn't be necessary anymore, but for now at least we can make it work. The procedure is simple, and they also gave me a batch file that will automate the process. I will upload the file here so anyone who needs this can use it.

Here's the procedure:

1. Exit tobii Experience first.
2. Run MSFS
3. Check that the AFMF is working correctly.
4. Go to Task Manager - Services to restart the tobii-related services.
   It is three services:

1. Tobii Service

2. TobiiGeneric

3. TobiiIS5LEYETRACKER5

5. Check again that the AFMF & Tracking is working correctly.
