This airport is developed with static Military, Commercial Airliner and General Aviattion Aircraft. For those users that don't want static aircraft, I am including a file in the no-static-acft folder along with instructions on how to copy the file to the correct location to remove the commercial airliners and GA, but leaving the military aircraft.
To use the static aircraft you will need to install UK2000 Common Library (free, in marketplace), FSLTL (free) and AGAIM (free, if you don't have this, you will not be able to download it, AIG been having server problems for a long time). FSLTL and AIGAIM provides aircraft, FedEx, UPS, American, Boeing Business Jet and Delta. All of the GA aircraft is provided by UK2 and Microsoft.
The jetway bug is still causing issues. I may later consider just adding static jetways, until a fix is released.
The 134 ARW hangar was modeled using two photos so it's not close to the correct size or even look like the real thing.
At first start, I felt that this airport was small, but after modeling all the 3D models I changed my feelings about the size, but this was a fun airport to do.
The one thing that I'm not satisfied with is the Terraforming (tunnel) beneath part of the main terminal. I am trying to smooth the sides of the tunnel out so to have a better appearance. The parking garage is also lower than the rest of the airport, but my terraforming skills are not good enough to attempt that yet.
AI does strange things such as landing and taxing in the woods, but eventually end up at a gate. Also on taxing to runway 5R, near the hold short line, all aircraft appear to make a move to the left and back to the right, inline with the taxi lines. AI seems to not follow taxi line sometimes.
I decided to model aprons, roads and taxiways as 3D models and place them using projected mesh as appose to drawing aprons in the sim. I find it easier and looks cleaner and you have more choices in selecting textures.

I get a checkerboard pattern (white and gray squares) around the airport runway grass edges. Runway surface is fine. All airport details are there and look great.
To troubleshoot, I have removed all addons, deleted the ktys community directory, and made sure I have latest version downloaded and in my community folder.
I used addon linker to make sure no addons in either my defined community folder, or the MSFS default community and official folder had any addons loaded.
If I install version 1.0.8 - no problems. All newer versions with same checker board result.

Another user had the same problem. Turned out to be one of the default textures I used, Not sure if that texture file was corrupt or missing on his system or not. Since this is only happening to you I suspect you have a corrupt texture file. The other user didn't want to try the repair or reinstall option. I don't blame him because it's such a large download. I ended up changing the texture I used and his problem was fixed. I will try to resolve it so you don't need to reinstall. Use the windows snipping tool to take a screen shot and email it to me and I will change the texture in that area and have you try it to see if it fix your problem. If so I can release that version.

I am liking this a lot but would you please work on it for a while longer between updates? Seems like another update every day or two and it is an airport I may fly to three or four times a year.

I know there have been many changes, but with v1.0.13 I'm about done. You're not required to download the new update unless you want to.

Hi, glad to know the good work continues. I'm not sure about the need or not of the fix (exclusion rectangle), because IronMinium also added the Factory Service Building in his latest release.

The exclusion rectangle took out other buildings that should have not been removed including the FD just south the terminal. All of his addon buildings are there, I removed my buildings, so the exclusion is not needed. Just try it.

Good idea, already added the SR22, the vision jet SF50 is not available from Asobo, Microsoft, AIG or FSLTL. I will try to find a freeware that will work.

Scenery looks great!
One fix I would like to see is a reduction in the number of random ramp lights placed around the airport. There appear to be lights everywhere! Google Earth 3D will show you where they're at and such.

Please send me the info on how to find ramp lights on Google Earth 3D. I know that sometimes you can see them because of shadows, but that depends on what time of day the satellite imagery was captured. If you know of a different way, please do educate me a little.

Actually Bing maps might work a little better. They have "birds eye" view there of the airport. Not 3D but they are oblique aerial photos. Zoom in to the airport and select it from the top right drop down where you can select between road view and satellite view

Still very nice scenery. Something to point out is that some static airliners are placed just exactly where a parking spot is, so those ones (some static - not all - or parking spots) should be eliminated.

Yes, the sim doesn't, but it should as with previous sims know when a parking spot is already in use and is not available to be used by AI or the user aircraft. This is why you see double aircraft parked in one spot. I have use the delete method in other scenery. In my next update v1.0.9, I will delete those spots used by static planes including the military

Any ideas on why the medians on the runways have checkerboard patterns? This happened before on previous installs, never could get it fixed. Appreciate any leads thanks!

Well, whatever it is, it's a conflict with the stock airport. I removed all my mods and the checkerboard pattern persisted. Something just doesn't agree. Good news is Iron Minion's Cirrus Service Center building Mod works fine either way!

A pink pattern or a black/white means a texture problem. Send me a pic and will try to resolve it. BTW just uploaded v1.0.6, tweaked the underpass below the terminal so that it blend in with the enviroment much better.

Thanks for the latest update. I might be missing something on 1.0.5, but I didn't see any of the instructions to deploy the mod without the static aircraft. I recall from comments, this required replacing a BGL file, but I can't find the text file instructing how to do so. Thanks!

I very much enjoy your airport but wanted to ask you a question and that is we have a very good guy his name is Iron Minion and he is in the discord and has made the cirrus Vision center for the airport and plans to make the other cirrus hangers and Factory service center but was wanting you to see his work and wondering if he would have your permission to add these building to you wonderful airport he's in the FFX discord channel which is the developers of the Visionjet in MSFS?

Great Scenery Daniel I really enjoy it but for some reason I am running the no Static Version and the gates appear detached in the middle from the terminal when live trafic is using them I run FSLTL and AIG please let me know if this can be fixed thanks a lot

Yep, that is known jetway bug with the jetways. Supposed to have been fixed in SU11

Thank you! As someone who works at TYS, this addon is a godsend. The paid scenery addon by FSSceneryBuilders is...decent to say the least. I've sent their company an email with a detailed list of errors they've made with their TYS addon but months later they haven't followed up and the errors aren't fixed. There are a few minor errors which I would be happy to help iron out but this is leagues better than the payware addon.

Most paid scenery developers are unwilling to help. I had a package for P3D that had tarmac with a reflection and was told it's because of PBR texture, but any person with common sense know that in reality the materials used on the airport surface don't have much reflectivity until they are wet. I think most developers feel that the customers don't know what they are talking about. I've seen a lot of crappy scenery for previous sims and some are still pushing crap out to the customers in MSFS 2020. I think it's because there are no real standards that everyone must follow. Most developers never fix anything. There are a few developers making really good scenery. If I purchase a crappy scenery package, I let the developer know that it's crap and put them on my crap list. I will just just use what is provided or make my own. If you let me know what you found I will definitely try to fix the problem. I don't care how minor they are.

Not sure, I don't use navigraph, try with and without added navdata. This was added because rwy 5L was removed, therefore there ILS and arrival data for that rwy was also removed.
