Add this additional overhead avionics tablet to your Beaver featuring the Garmin Aera GPS system.
Also available for the Douglas DC-3, Cessna 152, Grravel/Carbon and Robin DR400
Navigation Tablet can be hidden by clicking the tablet button, and restored clicking the base mount. This is the same functionality added by Got Friends to the standard tablet and basically a copy paste of their implementation.
v1.2.0 Update:
- Added ability to relocate tablet to panel (via clickspot) for better visibility
v1.1.2 Update:
- Small customization of the Garmin Aera to improve navigation and provide menu access in the map and flight plan screens
Special thanks to @EzRyder for pointing me in the right direction on how to make these types of modifications.

Super. Could you make similar to the Norseman aircraft as well?

Which version of the Garmin is this? I'm trying to find an operators manual and there are a bunch of different versions.

I suppose saving the tablet's settings isn't possible, but could you default the data fields in the overlay to something other than BRG in all four corners? Just a thought.

The functionality of the Garmin Aera is provided by Asobo and reused in this mod. I have made some slight adjustments to it, but am by no means and expert on the codebase. Perhaps at some point I'll dig in further on it. What you're asking for may be possible.

Can you make this for the Wilga float (80H)?

Fantastic add on - thank you! It took me a while to figure out how to move the tablet to the dash. Should the mount on the ceiling move with the tablet or disappear when it is moved? In VR it's still in my field of vision. It would be nice if it disappeared.

Thanks! For now, everything stays visible as long as the tablet is visible.

Could you please make this available for Airland Studios R44 and Bell 407?
I might be able to for the Bell 407, the R44 is an addon that I don't have rights to modify...

Thanks very much for this!
Easily worth 5 stars. However, without head tracking or VR it's a bit awkward to use and control when you have to look up every time.
Would it be possible to place it somewhere else in the DC-3 and Beaver, so it's in constant view like in the C152 or the Robin DR400? Maybe a second version to chose from?

Good point. I use trackIR and I actually like that it's out of the way :D I'd support however the request for a second version, or a way to customize the location of the tablet.

Great mod, works great with all three DHC-2 variants.
All in all it's a great mod.

Nice, functional tablet. But would it be possible to put it in a kind of own window where you can move it e.g. to a second monitor, lie now for e.g. the ATC, the Camera, Navolan etc.?

I can see how that could be useful, but it's not really what I was going for here and probably not something I'll implement.

Gooday Mate,
Did some more research and found there is a conflict within the community folder. Now I need t find the culprit. Tried Clean community folder with your tablet works fine.

This looks amazing. Such a mod has been missing from the Savage Carbon and Grravel for as long as they've been released. Would you consider converting it to those as well?
Sure, I'll keep those in mind.
