The Royal Malaysian Air Force took delivery of the F/A-18D Hornet in 1997 to provide an all weather interdiction capability.
A new multi-role combat aircraft (MRCA) was narrowed down to four types of aircraft: Eurofighter Typhoon, Dassault Rafale, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and Saab JAS 39 Gripen.
While the MRCA program is in limbo, this livery provides a visualisation of what the MRCA would look like if the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet won the competition.
The livery is based on the current RMAF F/A-18D Hornet.
Enjoy!
