Introduction
These flight plans cover Travis Ludlow's Around The World Solo Trip. He started in Teuge, the Netherlands on May 29, 2021 and flew around the world in a Cessna 172. Travis returned to Teuge on July 12 having spent 44 days completing the 24,900 mile (40,072km) journey and breaking the world record of youngest pilot to fly solo around the world. More information about this trip can be found on his website.
After Teuge Travis flew back to the United Kingdom where he lives. I've also included that leg. Many thanks to Travis for sharing his detailed flight plan.
Bush Trip
I've also created a bush trip for this. However, MSFS bush trips were not designed with flight plans in mind that cover many time zones.
Using a flight plan instead has a few advantages:
- Choose your own plane
- Choose your own weather / match real life weather that Travis encountered
- Realistic refueling options
- Availability of ATC
- Save and load the flight at any time
Dependencies
- BGBW in Greenland is missing in MSFS. You can download it from this site. I've listed it as a required dependency. All the other airports are recommended upgrades.
- Crispy136 has made a beautiful livery of Travis Ludlow's C172. This really adds to the immersion! He has made 3 versions. You can download it here.
Imported this Flightplan in Little Navmap and got following errors:
UUBM, USMO, UTIC not found. Running AIRAC 2206
Any ideas?

No, strange. But in the next two weeks I'll be redoing this whole flight plan by creating flight plans for each leg. I've done the same for Zara's and Mack's world trips. I'll upload the legs in stages as it is a bit of work to split everything and convert the plans to IFR (VFR adds strange marker points in the flight plan in MSFS).

Here is the link for BGBW: https://flightsim.to/file/734/bgbw-narsarsuaq-greenland
But you can also find it in the list of dependencies at the bottom of the page.
