The Japanese Grand Tour 日本グランドツアー

Have your chance to see all of Japan from the air. This route covers virtually all of Japan including its four main islands, interesting locations including landmarks and airports (all Japanese 'star' runways are also included, for achievement hunters).

My reason for creating this grand tour is because I was supposed to move to Japan before the travel ban made me delayed, this way I can still explore before I arrive.

For an elevated experience where you can listen to local Japanese radio stations, listen to real-time audio tours and more , I recommend that you also use the Bushtalk addon.

Suggested Aircraft: Cessna 172.

お勧めの飛行機: セスナ 172.

The reason for this is that while yes this flight plan is long, it is probably not intended to be completed in one sitting. In using a small propellor aircraft, you free yourself to become able to simply disconnect the autopilot and explore at your leisure whenever the feeling strikes you while listening to local 80's radio stations (aesthetic), without need for gigantic turn circles, slow deceleration and before you know it the amazing scenery has passed.

The Cessna 170 only has enough fuel to make it safely to the next waypoint, possibly the one after that. The reason I did this is because I find it fun and immersive to 'stop-by' these locations and refuel, also breaks are good. For stretches over water, you can engage the autopilot and relax for only 10-15 minutes or so.

This is an IFR flight plan, so you can complete it in one sitting using a larger aircraft (I would recommend the Cessna Citation CJ4 if you must go faster). I also input IFR vectors to take the aircraft right past most vanilla POI's.

There is no ILS approach vector for RJCR so final landing must be manual.
