During war, it is wise to be skilled in the ways of your adversary. It is not uncommon that during war, material is captured and evaluated and even repurposed by opposing sides.
Spitfire LF Mk IX MK698 was serving with 412 Squadron RCAF when shot down by a Bf109E and crash landed near Wachendonk 5 December 1944. Pilot Officer CWH Glithevo survived and became a Prisoner of War.
Following its crash landing, the aircraft was repaired and used by the Zirkus Rosarius, a unit of the Luftwaffe that was tasked with evaluating and demonstrating captured Allied aircraft during WWII. This livery depicts the airframe whilst in service with this unit. This is as historically accurate as I can make it from a range of reference sources.
This livery is for the Flyingiron Simulations Spitfire LF Mk IXc for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Two Packages are available for you to choose:
The Main package includes a self installation executable. The alternate package is a installerless zip file. They are labelled accordingly. Only download the one you wish to use.

Serious question. Why an executable?
1. It's 2021. We live in a world where everyone and his dog are trying to break into our computers. Executables are NOT to be trusted, and without specialised tools, cannot be seen into (as a ZIP archive CAN), before being executed, when the damage would already have been done.
2. As evidenced by the bajillion mods available here on this site alone, the overwhelming majority of flight sim-ers have mastered the skills required to find, and add a folder to, the MSFS Community folder.
Your thoughts? Am I missing a vital motivation for you and others who do this?
Thanks again.
